How to use

Right-click the Zotero parent item and choose Scrape, Update & Report from the item menu. The plugin creates a child scrape report note, updates safe standard fields, and adds extracted keywords as Zotero tags.

What it does

Zotero metadata updater

Bibliographic metadata goes into Zotero fields such as title, date, DOI, abstract, publisher, and venue.

Paper scrape report notes

Paper-content information and provenance are written into a child note for review and auditability.

OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, DBLP

DBLP, Semantic Scholar, and OpenAlex records are checked against title, date, and DOI before updates.

Install

  1. Download the latest .xpi file.
  2. In Zotero, open Tools -> Add-ons.
  3. Choose Install Add-on From File....
  4. Select Scrape, Update & Report V1.0.4.xpi and restart Zotero if prompted.
